Landing

In this paragraph, you will have ready, the above information, per the above example, to be used for Landing at the Destination airport.

Task:

1. Tower: Use the frequency assigned by "Approach"
2. Have the following information ready for use:
   • Field Elevation: Obtained from the "Airport Frequencies" section of your filled-in Flight Plan, for Destination.
   • Traffic Pattern Altitude: Obtained from the "Airport/Facilities Directory"
   • Runway Number and Traffic Pattern: Runway Number assigned by the Tower (along with associated Traffic Pattern).
3. Obtain the following information from the "Pilots Operator Handbook":
   • Flap Extended Speed

     CAUTION! DO NOT exceed Flap Extended Speed!

   • Best Rate-of-Descent Speed
   • Approach Speed

     WARNING!! NOT to be confused with the speed used for approaching the airport!!!
