Ensuring that Aircraft Is not Overweight

This sub-chapter defines the procedure for ensuring that the Fully-Loaded Aircraft's Total Weight does NOT exceed its (allowable) Maximum Gross Weight, where:

• Total Weight: Of the Fully-Loaded Aircraft
• Maximum Gross Weight: Maximum allowable weight for Take-Off and operation, obtained from the "Pilots Operator Handbook"

Task:

1. Obtain the following Weights from the "Pilots Operator Handbook":
   • Empty Aircraft
   • Full Tank of Fuel
2. Calculate the Total_Weight, by adding together the Weights (from Step 1), along with Your Weight, as the Pilot.
3. Obtain the aircraft's Maximum Gross Weight from the "Pilots Operator Handbook," and ensure that the Total Weight (from Step 2) does not exceed it.
