Overview of Tutorial

IMPORTANT! The examples in this Tutorial are intended ONLY for instructional purposes, and are NOT to be used for actual flights.

The Tutorial performs the following functions:

Provides a tutorial method which facilitates the process of gathering and calculating flight planning information.
Presents information in an orderly manner that facilitates filling in and submitting the Flight Plan to the FAA Briefer.

And comprises the following chapters:

Introduction: Describes the Flight Planner.
Getting Started: Lists the items required for getting started.
Weights & Balances: Defines the procedures for calculating Weights and Balances, required for proper Take-Off and operation of the Fully-Loaded Aircraft.
Flight Plan: Defines the procedures for filling-in the Flight Plan, at the start of your flight.
Departure: Home: Defines the procedures for departing from the Departure Point (airport).
Arrival: Destination: Defines the procedures for arriving at the Destination (airport).
Glossary: Provides a listing and brief definition of Flight Planning terms, as used in this Tutorial.
