NOTE: "Act." (Actual Ground Speed) will be filled in during flight.

GS: Column of the "Navigation Log" that provides a convenient way to calculate and list the following air speed information in relation to the ground:

Est.: Estimated Ground Speed

Task:

For each Individual Leg: Perform the following steps:

Obtain the following information from the "Navigation Log":
- Wind: (Direction & Velocity)
- TAS: True Air Speed
- CH: Compass Heading
Calculate the Estimated Ground Speed, using the following:
- Information (from Step 1)
- Your E6-B
and enter the result as follows.
