Calling Tower for Taking-Off

In this paragraph, you will call the Tower, to obtain instructions for Take-Off.

Task:

1. Call the Tower, providing the following information:
   • Who: Identify your Aircraft Type and ID.
   • Where: Provide your location.
   • What: Make your request.

   The following table provides a sample call to the Tower.
2. Listen for Take-Off instructions, respond accordingly, and follow their directions. They will provide you with instructions, such as:
   • "Cleared for Take-Off."
   • "Fly Runway Heading ..."

   IMPORTANT! Consult with your Flight Instructor for possible instructions, especially specific ones that may apply to your particular Departure Point.
