Calling "Approach" for Entering Class C Airspace

In this paragraph, you will call "Approach," to obtain clearances for Approach through Class C Airspace.

Task:

1. Call "Approach," providing the following information:
   • Who: Identify your Aircraft Type and ID.
   • Where: Provide your location.
   • What: Make your request.

   The following table provides a sample call to "Approach."

   NOTE: Use the "Approach" Frequency from the ATIS Recording.

2. Wait for instructions, and listen carefully. They will assign the following information:
   • Squawk Code
   • Tower Frequency

   and provide any additional instructions, such as Heading.
